Finding shapes in our environment

Today our focus for outdoor learning was to find lots of 2d shapes in our nursery garden and in the school grounds. The children worked with a partner working collaboratively using clipboards to record the shapes they found. The children used tally marks and totalled up the shapes found at the end of the activity. The children were very focused throughout this activity and showed great enthusiasm spotting the shapes.

I enjoy investigating objects and shapes and can sort, describe and be creative with them. MTH 0-17a
